Official Android support for microsoft lumia 950xl

I Still use my Commodore Amiga 1200 therefore do not understand your ridiculous concept of couple years old hardware equals dead!

The point is that, when Windows Vista came out, Outlook Express was removed from the operating system.  I started complaining over and over, along with many others.  Finally, one day I received an email from someone at Microsoft that said, "Click this link."  It was a link to download Windows Live Mail.  I have been using Windows Live Mail ever since.  Even when Microsoft announced that Windows Live Mail would end being able to be used in December several years back. I resumed my complaints and when the date in December came, a statement from Microsoft was posted, along with a link extending it.  They changed the way the Outlook Server gave access, but then there was a way to access the server by changing to an older access method.  I am still using Windows Live Mail, even though it disconnects in the middle of a session.  But it reconnects eventually.  I also still use my Lumia 950xl, and will continue to do so.  There are still some irritations with APPs stopping working, but I can still use the online functions to duplicate the APPs functions.  I still think that Microsoft could add a function that would allow Android Apps to work on Windowsphone.  I'm not switching to Android nor Apple.  I don't like the way they operate.

Is your email like a hotmail or live account? If so, you're ok. I have one left myself and I use the gmail app on my Android phone to send and receive. You could download the outlook app if you wanted, but its not very good. 

As far as Windows 10 mobile goes, its dead. Don't fret about it. just move on to Android or Apple. You'll have the apps that Windows never had.

"Microsoft does not and will not develop Android ROMs for any existing device" --> Well, as of yesterday's announcement of the Surface Duo and Neo, that's no longer true... but they still don't have one for Lumia phones, at least not one that they're sharing publicly...

The Neo will be running on Windows 10X in case you missed that detail.

As for the prototype mockup called the Duo, 14 months are a long time in the tech world. The rendering shown to the public may be quite different from the final retail product, assuming it reaches that stage.
