I had tried all the other solutions none worked for me I already had the above mentioned DNS servers. My desktop is what one would easily call "ancient" but in perfect working order until that problem. My motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L and I believe
it was IDE and not AHCI. In the advanced Bios setup of this motherboard you can select the priority of the HDDs I selected my USB HDD, which by the way appeared only when I formatted the USB in NTFS and not in the standard Fat-32 (I think that the NTFS format
is for files larger than 4Gb to answer your other question) than I selected the same as the first Boot device and disabled all others, booted (it took a relatively long time to boot) and proceeded with the installation. All previous attempts to do the same
from inside Windows or (by pressing shift+restart) in the repair environment downloading from the cloud had failed that is why I opted from the boot from USB option. I am not familiar with computers but I believe if you are frustrated enough you can do miracles.
I hope I answered all your questions (unfortunately I cann't help with the AHCI I don't even know the word). As I said I had tried every possible solution SSL, DNS, WSReset, Services, Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, Reset Windows Store through Command Prompt,
Re-register All Store apps, Uninstall & Reinstall Store, Run Built-in & Guided Walk through Windows Update troubleshooter, Check your Antivirus and some I may forget and didn't receive any error message the store, calculator, paint and some other apps just
woudn't open and when I tried to open a .png, .jpeg file than I would get an error message saying something in the context of "you have no app installed for this extension" so it all started from the store not working and I had to solve it because I need jpeg,
png viewing for my work. Hoping I haven't made many spelling or syntax errors (English is not my first language) many regards from the always beautiful but now in a sad state Thessaloniki, Greece.
