When I try to access the Microsoft Store I get Error Code: 0x80131500     CV: 0H5MOZaq8Uye8k8W

I've tried wsreset.exe- no success

I've tried https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027498/microsoft-store-fix-problems-with-apps - no success

I've tried to reset my region, language, and speech - no success

I've deleted the contents of the download directory and the datastore directory in c:\windows\softwaredistribution - no success

Ideas?

Before you go through all of the Ultra-Geeky hassle (and possibly dangerous) methods above, try checking your Internet Security settings as outlined below:

Possible Fix:

Search for "Internet Options"

Open the App

Select the "Advanced" Tab

Scroll to the Bottom of the List where you can see "Use SSL/TLS"

UN-Select SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 and 1.1

SELECT TLS 1.2 and (If Available) TLS 1.3

Click "Apply"

Click "OK"

Reboot Computer

YMMV

Good Luck!

Microsoft restarted at this point without closing.

Worked fine for me following this.

    hope this helps

Thanks, had to switch to the old control panel rather than the new settings page.  This partially works for me.  It allows me to access the store and windows update.  I can update the apps I already have but if I try to install any new ones it tells me I am not connected to the internet.  one drive also will not work with these settings or amazon music app.

    Possible Fix:

    Search for "Internet Options"

    Open "Internet Options"

    Select "Advanced" Tab

Scroll to the Bottom of the List where you can see "Use SSL/TLS"

Clear the Tick Marks in SSl 2.0, SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0

Make Tick Marks in TLS 1.1 and 1.2 If your version of Windows supports it, place a tic mark in TLS 1.3 also.

    Click "Apply"

    Reboot and Test

    YMMV and Good Luck!
