Not a solution, but beside from disabling the graphics card, you might be able to get pretty stable system by stopping Windows from installing new drivers via Windows Update. Have a look here:

For the next step you have to remove the Nvidia Driver completely. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but I used a tool called DDU to do so.

After the driver is gone, get the newest one from your notebook's support page on asus.com. Unfortunately using this outdated driver might cause a new bluescreen called IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

The problems are probably caused by the fact that Asus installed a shittier version of Nvidia's mx150 in our machines. Apparently there is a 25W TDP version and a smaller 10W TDP version of the graphics chip and at least my notebook has the later one. Therefore Asus has to compile a special version of the graphics driver for the notebooks, which means we will always have an outdated version.

The whole trouble probably began with Microsoft removing most of the power / energy settings with Windows 1809. So now there are now three companies involved in our problem.

Last info: I contacted Asus, but they haven't responded yet.

EDIT: Using ASUS's driver and disabling the Windows Driver Updates does not help. Just got POWER_DRIVER... bluescreen again.

Did anyone find a solution to this issue?

Hey, I just want to add that you are not the only one Karthik_K_ . I have an Asus Zenbook UX331UN, which does have a MX150 and i7-8550u as well. I constantly get video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error and driver_power_state_failure BSODs. As you probably have seen, there are dozens of other posts online as well, describing the same problem.

Those errors aren't even tied to Asus, but are a problem with Acer machines as well. This error occurs with both, version 1809 and 1903 of Windows. Rolling back to 1803 helps, but should and can not be the final solution for notebooks this expensive. Additionally, keep in mind that Microsoft will end the support of 1803 this year (12th of November 2019).

I will try to collect as much data as I can and send it to Asus via Mail. I will link those threads and offer them as many different minidumps as possible, so if you or any of the watchers - there are 18 people registered for the notifications after all

• have any minidumps to share, or could post their setups, this would be really helpful.

EDIT: Btw. you can disable your MX150 in the device manager as a temporary solution. This will of course only allow you to utilize the graphics power of Intels UHD 620, but at least you don't have to go through the struggle of downgrading you Windows version.
