hi I want to connect my android device to my hp windows 10 pro using the "You Phone' and " Phone Companion" but there is is know connection even though they are both connected to a WIFI hotspot from another device. My android is stuck in a loop saying " We're checking one more thing on your PC before we ask for a final permission, while my PC stuck on" We need permission to connect and access data onyour phone. Please check your phone and tap allow."

Absolutely half-developed or half-heartedly developed.
Another issue is that it compresses your photos to such an extent that they are literally unusable. In 2020s your photos do not even transfer in 1920x1080 who wants smaller photos than that? Why on earth did they develop this crappy software like that?
If you just need to see and use your android phone from your PC for anything other than making phone calls, you can try Scrcpy - it's free and open source, and actually works. There are a few steps to get it set up but once you get it running just hook your phone up to your PC/laptop via usb and forget it.

Definitely didnt work for me with that method. The only logical way for me as of now is to probably do a clean install again.

I found that if you sign in with a skype email address rather than your email address (mine is the same funnily enough), made sure that my bluetooth was switched on and discoverable on both PC and phone, then went into the settings on my computer/devices/add Bluetooth or other device/Bluetooth my phone was shown in the list connected it - you should get a pin number shown on both devices - and hey presto it paired and worked perfectly. Hope this helps.
