You Phone/Companion Connection-Link
hi I want to connect my android device to my hp windows 10 pro using the "You Phone' and " Phone Companion" but there is is know connection even though they are both connected to a WIFI hotspot from another device. My android is stuck in a loop saying " We're checking one more thing on your PC before we ask for a final permission, while my PC stuck on" We need permission to connect and access data onyour phone. Please check your phone and tap allow."

2020-06-20T09:57:03+00:00 I agree with DigitalDarrelYoung completely. My Windows 10 PC and android 8+ were working together until a recent update on my PC. Since then I get phone calls coming through on my PC but no texts or photos which was really convenient when I was working. I have tried a variety of trouble shooting tips and nothing works. It's very frustrating.

2020-06-11T05:21:17+00:00 Thanks for the suggestions but for me, the Phone Companion works great (I have a Samsung Note10+). In fact, it works as "advertised". The software sends notification to the phone and the user would need to "allow" interaction. When that happens. all is fine. If you want to use the dial feature, you would need to connect the phone to the computer by bluetooth, which is not much of a bother.

2020-06-11T02:27:47+00:00 This is an absolute piece of garbage, mine gets stuck on the My Phone Companion android app. It says "From the Your Phone app on your PC, select Send Notification".
Ha ha ha ha ha. So funny. THE OPTION DOESN'T EVEN EXIST TO SEND THE NOTIFICATION.
God Microsoft, I have to say, your programmers are probably THE WORST programmers in the world.
Anyway, I think this little gimmick is more to do this stealing every little bit of information about you and your phone than actually providing any useful functionality.
It's clear from this board that there are zero developers working on it and probably less developers reading feedback.
Do yourselves a favour. Install AirDroid or better still Vysor.
Job done. Bye Companion!
