- The tool is designed to produce crashes. After each crash you will use the Windows advanced troubleshooting menu to turn off the tool. The computer may become sluggish while using tool and this includes slow boots.
- After each bsod crash:
a) run the administrative command prompt command to post new logs into the thread
b) open file explorer > this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for:
C:\Windows\memory.dmp > if the size is < 1.5 GB then zip > post a share link into the thread
- In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings
a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > uncheck automatically restart > reboot
b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > under performance options > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > make sure that the box to automatically manage paging file size is checked
- After each BSOD you will return to the desktop using the methods to turn off and recover from using the tool. The dump files will be debugged. Misbehaving drivers will be uninstalled. The drivers can be reinstalled immediately or when all misbehaving drivers have been identified.
- The tool can be started when you are comfortable with the instructions on how to turn off and recover from using the tool. Much later in the day I'll debug the files/logs and post the findings. And later in the day I'll be more available in case there are multiple BSOD.
