When will be the next update to fix the problem of missing the toggle to turn off the adaptive brightness in windows update 1809? This is a big issue for me in work. Waiting for your immediate answer.
I am Using Windows 10 64 bit and currently updated to build 1809 (latest)

Have you installed the "intel graphics command center" from the windows store? There is an adaptive brightness toggle inside, for battery and plugged in, that's where I found it on mine, even though I have a dedicated 2070 in my laptop, in desktop mode it switches to the intel integrated gpu. Please let me know if this helps anyone.
A friend had this issue today (September 16th, 2019) ... I managed to solve it by going to Nvidia control Panel, Display, Adjust Desktop color settings, and selecting "Use nvidia settings" and setting the brightness from there.

yeah same here since 1809. then they fixed it and then 1903 screwed it up.
BTW adaptive brightness is NOW GONE and resetting drivers WONT FIX IT so don't bother

What is an Acer Swift, desktop or laptop?
1809 is the version not the build.
