I'm having the same problem and hope for Ms to fix it sooner than later.
Remove Wireless Projection Banner from Desktop screen
is it possible remove the new "Wireless Projection Banner" introduced in 1809 or at the very least move it so that it does pop-up every time I touch a tab in my browser?

2019-06-25T14:29:56+00:00 Thank you this works. However, it really shouldn't be this hacky to stop that black bar appearing. I cannot expect ordinary users to stop processes in Task Manager. The unpin option should reduce, remove or place the menu in the task bar at the bottom of the screen. This is a terrible usability oversight. I appeal to Microsoft to look into fixing this.
Thank you.

2019-06-13T01:32:59+00:00 Having to rename Windows.Internal.PlatformExtension.MiracastBannerExperience.dll to disable this bar is so stupid but it looks like it's the only way.
I use Miracast instead of my HDMI cable to connect my laptop to an external display, and I love the freedom it gives me. But I hate this stupid bar that I can't close.
Auto-hide is not good enough because so many times I will accidentally click on it and cause it to disconnect
I'm a long time WIndows user but recently for 3 months I was using a MacBook Pro and fell in love the simplicity and ease of use of AirPlay, Apple's proprietary version of Miracast.
So back to Windows, I plugged in a Roku stick I had and started using Miracast a lot. And that means this issue is annoying me numerous times every single day.
