Audio problem on Logitech Z Cinema after October Update

Hi,

After installing October Update on Windows 10 volume control is not working (using Logitech Z Cinema speakers through USB).

Driver update, restart explorer, restart Windows Audio service didn't help.

Any suggestion ?

    También tuve este problema después de la actualización de W10 V1809: no se pudo cambiar el nivel de sonido.

    Para solucionar este problema, reproduzca un CD de audio o música de iTunes en el sistema Z.

    Mientras se está reproduciendo, retire el cable de alimentación de la unidad base Z; esto obliga a reiniciar el sistema. Apague y reinicie la PC. Siguiente restaurar la potencia Z.

    Ahora reproduzca un CD / música y debería funcionar para escuchar y cambiar el nivel de sonido.

    How do you turn the speakers on via telecommand?

    I'm with a similar problem, when the 1809 update came out I stopped being able to enable the srs trusurround HD feature, pushing the button on the remote control would highlight the option in the speaker but there was no difference at all in sound.

    Everything else worked.

    Today after doing a fresh windows install with the latest updates the Z-Cinema software works no more, the only way I can power the speakers is via remote control, I still can control the volume via windows slider but even at 100% it's fairly low. The volume dialer in the remote does not work, it's always stuck on "2 dots".

    I really hope Microsoft fixes this, this is a way too good speaker set for me to give up on it, it may not have that strong overwhelming bass everyone seems to like but the sound quality is top notch.

    Please provide some additional information, so that we can assist you better.

    1. Did you make any changes to the computer before this issue occurred?
    2. Do you see any error message when you connect speakers to the computer?
    3. May I know the make and model number of your computer?

    However, I would suggest you to please follow below mentioned steps and see if that works.

    1. Windows + x > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound
    2. Set the current speakers you are using to "Default Device"
    3. Disable all other audio devices.

         4. If possible, re-configure the speakers you are using (using the "Configure" button).
