Windows 10 1809 update + KB4464330 can't set no paging file in System Drive (C:)

After I updated Windows 10 Pro 64-bit to the October 2018 version 1809 update. I can't set custom size or no paging file in virtual memory properties in drive C:. By after set custom size or no paging file and restart computer. Has system properties pop up on start up. And pagefile.sys in drive C: still automatically manage paging file size.

    I will confirm that kb4476976 installation has resolved the issue for me and I no longer am forced to have my page on C: on my desktop.

    I have the same problem described by oldguy3.  It begin today, immediately after update to 1809.

    Controller is Asmedia 106x SATA.

    I, too, prefer my pagefile on my D: drive, which is 1TB spin type (W-D Black).

    Very obviously, another 1809 bug.

    Hi Sandeep,

    I have the same issue exactly since the 1809 update.

    I have no BitLocker enabled and no registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PagefileOnOsVolume".

    Microsoft suspended the update because of an issue that corrected in the Updated version of Windows 10 October 2018 Update released to Windows Insiders, it seems to be path file issue, so I'm thinking that is a bug in the 1809 update.

    Oct-11 2018, I update Windows 10 1809 update with KB4464330. But My PC still has problem about setting no paging file in system drive C:.

    @Greg I'm sorry for what I told you too little. I try another with your procedure. but I can't set no page file in drive C in 1809 update of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Has system properties pop up on start up. And pagefile.sys in drive C: still automatically manage paging file size. I can reduce page file size to 500 MB
