what should I do now I didn't install the update but I'm afraid if I restart the update will install and I may lose my files

2018-10-10T19:10:56+00:00 What I don't understand is why you mentioned installing manually without being online. Windows Update wouldn't be able to download anything If I didn't have internet. I have AT&T U-verse Internet, and it works just fine.
What he meant was that (in his opinion) users should download and install the update themselves rather than allowing it to occur via Windows Update.
