Windows Brightness issue after the 1809 update

hello , Yesterday I installed the 1809 update , and today i noticed that each time i restart my laptop the brightness level is being reset automatically to 0% or 25-50 i'm not really sure , and after windows will boot up , i will need to manually adjust the screen brightness again to 100% . I searched the web and i found this https://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-october-2018-update-common-problems-and-fixes#fix\_brightness\_windows10\_1809 , and it might be an update issue i think  , by the way , my power plan is set to maximum performance and my laptop is always plugged in , and solutions or ?

    This is really crazy. I have ASUS UX ultabook and since 1809 I have 2 problems. One is SIMILAR to this. The difference is that the slider is NOT at 50%, the slider is at 100% but the brightness is at approx 50% !!!

    I tried updating the driver for Intel, NVidia, I even installed insider's preview of Windows but the issue remains!

    The thing is that when I turn the notebook on, the display is at 100% on lock screen. As soon as I logon, it is reduced to like 50% and it can be adjusted, but the maximum brightness is not 100%!

    The other problem is that sleep mode doesn't work, but that is for another topic...

    Same here...two KBs installed with same number, but the issue remains. Searching for a workaround meanwhile.

    ...and... Yesterday the laptop let me know another update was being loaded -- with exactly the same KB number as the fix a day before.

    This time, restarts do continue with correct brightness, at least so far.

    Crossed fingers, but in any case, at least there's a finger workaround if the round-about turns out still not right...

    Restarting restores the brightness adjust, but following any Suspend it freezes again. Only restarts work temporarily, turning off and on again has no effect.

    Yes, there's something completely klutzy about this 'fix'...

    I had it fall me when an MS installer called its own restart -- not bothering to try to figure out all ways this fails.

    My brightness control is a key, so just lean on it on startups when required, saves this waste of time.
