Google Chrome Notifications in Windows Action Center Won't Load Pages When Clicked

With the most recent update to Google Chrome, push notifications are now in the Action Center.  This would be fine, if clicking said push notifications actually opened the page referred to IN the notification (example would be YouTube video notifications for subscribed channels).  Instead, it just makes the notification disappear.  How can this be fixed?  At it is, seeing a notification for something and then having to go manually search for the item is beyond useless, and defeats the entire purpose of a push notification.  Thanks for any assistance provided in advance!

    Any updates from microsoft? I'm facing the same issue for a long time. Chrome notifications in the message queue in windows notification center just vanished without opening any pages when clicked. only notifications not logged in the center do open tabs in chrome when clicked.

    Kudos to AlphaCodes here. I implemented the renotify + tag solution and confirm clicking notifications from Action Center now open them in browser.

    Unfortunately there's not much to do for end users. This workaround solution has to be implemented by developers (ie: the ones sending notifications to you).

    Thank you very much AlphaCodes, I will look into this.

    At the moment I managed to get Firefox (my sales people want that) send a notification fra Salesforce.

    But not clickabel. Have a nice day.

    That is correct, Prior to my clean re-install it worked as I expected it to.

    Same issue here.  Very glad to see it's not just us having the issue.  We are trying to setup web push notifications for our website and clicking on the notification as it first appears in Windows 10 seems to work but once the notification is transferred into notification center clicking on it just makes it disappear.

    Strange that all my Gmail notifications seem to work 100% when clicked on.  Wish I knew what settings they use!  Somehow they got it to work.
