Minecraft Windows 10 Edition - (Unable to connect to world) Friend can't join me and I can't join friend

Whenever we try to connect to each other's worlds through the Xbox app it says "Unable to connect to world". We can play together on a realms server, and can join other servers, just not each other.

I've changed my NAT type to open, and port forwarded all the required ports for the Xbox app. Still nothing.

I've tried using a VPN to several different countries but still has the same results.

We are both using Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition.

We have both uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, no luck.

    Unitl yesterday, Minecraft has worked flawlessly between my PC and Switch, not I am unable to connect to my PC hosted games from anything including other windows 10 computers.  I have tried everything posted everywhere (teredo fixes, NAT, network  resets, etc), with no change whatsoever.  I don't understand what happened that broke everything, it was working two days ago, and then the next morning we couldn't plat anymore.  Extrememly frustrating that there is no fix for this, and I don't really know what to do or where to go from here.  If microsoft isn't listening here, is there somewhere else we can make a more formal complaint to, we're almost to 3000 people with this same problem now and I imagine the number is going to contuinue to grow.

    Hey,

    I was wondering if there was any steps available for Xbox? Me and my girlfriend have been playing nonstop but a little while ago she wasn't able to join me and I couldn't join her like the same problem this person had but the difference is we are both on Xbox. We thought it was me because I have been hit with a Double NAT but I have no problems playing with other people except for her. So is there any steps I could take to help her fix it since she can't play with anyone unless it's on servers?

    Many routers come preconfigured by local internet service providers without an option to mess witch any settings. I had never encountered connection issues like that with any multiplayer game. Multiple different pc's, multiple different network cards, multiple different routers and internet providers. Issue happens nearly every time.

    I have the same problem as everyone else. Use to work fine when my mate and i first started playing. both on pc using the Microsoft edition tried absolutely everything on the net as well as trying a few other solutions i had come up with. this has been going on for well over a year and is quite frankly beyond disappointing that Microsoft are yet to give us a solution. I am now being forced to purchase the java edition for the second time as the first time glitched and denied me access with the code i was given. All of this just to play with ONE friend on minecraft. Seriously, a company as big as this really shouldn't have any excuse for not fixing this problem sooner.
