Microsoft license key/IP address scam

Please help I am now having the same issue as the person above.  I keep getting calls saying microsoft they are going to deactivate my IP address.  I have not or will not talk to them I just keep hanging up.  The issue is I have received at least 6 calls today since 7:30 am and now it is 11:30 and I just got another it shows in coming from my land line phone I did not pick up.  How do you stop them and how do you report it?  Please help I am not sure how to address!

Automated woman's voice (the older kind of automated technology, tempo not smooth,) said that my license key was going to be deactivated, because my IP address has been compromised, and in several countries too. I was to hold to speak to someone.

Same thing happened to me.. I have received 5 phone calls from my own number. It was hella confusing because this is how I access my voicemail, however I had a really good feeling it was a scam so I just let the robot talk and hung up. I feel like this has probably worked on some of the less informed people out there. How is this possible and how have they not been stopped yet? Idk if I can even block the number because it's my own number lol..

Any response to this, Microsoft?

I was to hold to speak to someone. I hold for no one when the caller ID is suspicious, as well as when it is in regards to one of my accounts. I can call the company back directly myself and if it's that important or legit, they'll have me on the line that way. (Same with emails. I refuse to click a link in any email, even those I am certain are legit. I'll go type the web address myself, thank you very much, and go to my account and customer service to deal with whatever.) However, Microsoft - you need to be aware this is happening. Obviously to a lot of customers since my experience matches exactly the OP's experience. 

The same thing is happening to me. I got 5 call from the scammer this morning. they won't leave me alone

I have had a total of 17 calls today [counted them of my phone log] starting at 0600 w/my name and my phone number on my caller ID.  it was "Suzy" from Microsoft  w/the same recording as mention from 08/11/18, 09/11/18 posting.  No way to stop w/nomorobo.  Can't block your own number.  Do I have to leave my landline unplugged to not receive these calls?  Can ANYTHING be done to stop this??
