and Where/When is the reply coming from Microsoft??!!!

Many on the this community forum have arrived via clicking on 'Support' - this board is not some social chat room - it is one of their Support options so it is extremely disrespectful of their customers and unprofessional of the company to not make sure those seeking support here at least get some acknowledgement from the compamy's tech department that they are working on a solution and will keep us informed

My machine also said KB4088776 was already installed, yet in the log is says it failed to install.  KB4093112 says it requires a restart, which it has received a number of times and yet the update has not finished installing.  Both are a problem in need of correcting!

I was able to get my system fully up to date by doing the following:

    1. Download and install Cumulative update KB4088776

    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4088776

    1. Reboot
    2. Download and install Delta update KB4093112

    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4093112

    1. Reboot
    2. Run the Windows update

    Hope this helps

The procedure didn't work for me.  I had used it once before to fix this issue with an earlier update.

I'm not certain but I bet the Windows Update Troubleshooter does basically the same thing and it said it fixed everything but it didn't.  And I ran it twice and got the same results.

This sucks.  MS needs to fix this.  I have another HP Win10 desktop and it doesn't have this issue.
