"Up to date" even though I am running version 1507 (RTM build of Windows 10); how to get 1803 (Redstone 4)?

Well without any real help from anyone, I managed to get a legitimately genuine version of Windows 10 installed on my computer... but it is from a DVD so I am running the first released version of the operating system, and I am trying to update to the latest release. When I run Windows Update, I used to see "Feature Update to 1803" as an available update, but now I don't see it at all and I know for a fact that I am still running Threshold instead of Redstone.

    Really, I am the person who uses this computer most often, so I probably will stick with my account.

    Now I run the SetupDiag tool because I get the same error yet again... will update this post once I get results.

    UPDATE 1: Is it supposed to take long on "processing rule: FindDownlevelFailure." or is that actually the end of the process?

    UPDATE 2: Seeing as the program is actually using system resources, it might actually be doing something...

    I can't recall any thread saying a specific account had to be logged in for an upgrade. I think you're OK on yours. But I guess I'd probably choose the one that is logged in the most.

    Edit: I wonder what SetupDiag would say...?...

    The computer is under my father's name and he holds the main account on the computer. However, when I installed 1607, I was on my account, which also has administrator rights.

    I ran the updator again so I cannot check the Panther folder at the moment...

    Alright, I hope the troubleshooter took care of it. But sounds like whatever caused 1803 to fail is at it again. Can you look in the C:$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther folder to see whether there is a log file that mentions a specific driver it doesn't like?

    I think it needs to be logged into an administrator account. I would choose the one into which you normally take the Windows updates & into which you do other installations. What is the computer's primary account?

    Yes, I get 4000D again, so I run the Windows Update troubleshooter and fix a couple of problems on that front, it says.

    Also, for future reference, do I need to be on the computer's primary account or my own account, even though both are admin accounts?
