windows 10 update and after install windows is crapt iska solution kay ha
Devices with Intel SSD 600p Series or Intel SSD Pro 6000p Series may crash and enter a UEFI screen after reboot when upgrading to Windows 10 April 2018 Update
When attempting to upgrade to the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, select devices with Intel SSD 600p Series or Intel SSD Pro 6000p Series may crash and enter a UEFI screen after reboot.
Microsoft is working with OEM partners and Intel to identify and block devices with Intel SSD 600p Series or Intel SSD Pro 6000p Series from installing the April 2018 Update due to a know incompatibility that may cause performance and stability issues. If you have encountered this issue, follow the steps to reinstall the previous operating system (Windows 10, version 1709).
Microsoft is currently working on a resolution that will allow the April 2018 Update on these devices in the near future.
Update (6/22/18):
Microsoft has included a solution for this issue in the May 23, 2018 Cumulative Update (KB4100403). This solution prevents the issue from occurring when installing the April 2018 Update. Please note that this solution does not restore systems that have already experienced the issue and are currently booting to a UEFI screen. Any devices already impacted should still follow steps to reinstall the previous operating system (Windows 10, version 1709). Any devices with Intel SSD 600p Series or Intel SSD Pro 6000p Series that have installed the June 12, 2018 Cumulative Update (KB4284835) will no longer be blocked from installing the April 2018 Update.

2018-06-29T21:06:17+00:00 KB4100403 does not exist for 1709 which is the one that refuses to update to 1803. I wonder how on earth this is considered as a solution?

Right....
- I could not upgrade to version 1803 because it was blocked 10x automatically at 49%. So I still am at version 1709.
- The upgrade to 1803 disappeared in my Windows update, it doesn't show up anymore (blocked by Microsoft?).
- My Windows update states my device is fully up to date.
- May 23, 2018 Cumulative Update (KB4100403) was not provided or installed through Windows update.
- June 12, 2018 Cumulative Update (KB4284835) was not provided or installed through Windows update.
- My last update was KB4056254 on the 25th of June.
Now 2 simple questions, please answer by yes or no:
- Is Microsoft still working on an automated fix/upgrade package for this issue?
- Is Microsoft going to provide this automated fix/upgrade package through Windows update, because I see nothing coming up at all....? (To be short, should we just wait for that?)
I hope somebody can answer these fairly simple questions...

2018-06-21T23:32:06+00:00 Has there been any update to this issue that actually works? I'm pausing all updates and upgrades until Microsoft can get their act together. I work full time at a decent job, but I can't afford what it costs to get my laptop fixed over and over because of this bs. I'm also trying to start a blog and that's rather difficult when Microsoft updates and corrupts most of my files.
And that little automated message about the fix is really not helping the frustration levels. Give us a solution, not some half cocked, half baked, "in the near future"

2018-06-18T17:21:09+00:00 I am so sorry you folks have so much problems. I had a similar situation with first my surface pro 3 and almost immediately with my brand new surface pro Lte advanced. Fortunately I did not lose any files but wasted more than 12 hours and a trip to my local MS store.
Currently I still have my new surface pro Lte advanced in pause mode for updates, stuck at version 1709. I am just simply too afraid to proceed further because I have identified that I have the Intel 6000p SSD in this new unit. I am a kind of mad with MS.
