Did you read the problem?
The clue is in the name ‘Project my screen’.
The point of the app is to display the phone’s screen on the computer display. Whether it displays a dot on the phone screen or not anything that still has a blank screen on the computer is not a workaround.
As for the question about phone versions, that is irrelevant, though I had already said mine is running the latest Win 10 mobile release. The same symptoms occur for older phones with earlier Win10 builds and also 8.1. It’s the Windows update 1803 which has the problem.
Updating the phone drivers does not change anything, as previously stated.
The app worked perectly on previous versions of Windows on the computer (whatever version was running on the phone) but stopped working with the latest 1803 release.
