I use my 950XL extensively for demos of my company's software because it's much better display than my iPhone and doesn't need additional apps to do it.
I updated my Win10 desktop today to 1803 and also my phone updated to .104 and the app no longer works.
When I open the app I get the message on the phone to ask if I want to share and I agree. The display on the desktop is black, but I can actually start applications on the phone by clicking inside the black window, so there obviously is a connection, just no display.
I was working perfectly, but not now.
As a workaround, is it possible to use continuum? I'm sure there used to be an option to display the phone's screen rather than a full desktop to the connected display but that appears to be no longer available
Thanks,
Chris

nyama,
The new app you compiled has the option to rotate and does so correctly on the display. The controls you added that allow for control of the phone through the app don't rotate though. They stay in a portrait orientation. In other words if you force a left rotation and click at the bottom of the window which is the left side of the phone screen it actually clicks the bottom of the phone screen. Is this something that could be modified to work in your version?
Thanks
Oh, WP8.1... I had ever used it always and loved it:)
But it's much difficult for the app to support it
because the app probably has no ability of handle it.
This app is incomplete reverse engineering app by
original author(not me).
And more, WP8.1 has already been EOL at 2017/07/11.
There is no device for test the app;(
Do you have any plan to update it to Windows 10 Mobile?
If you do so, the app will draw your phone screen:)
Hi,
With the last update, I still get a blank screen after I reply Yes to the prompt on the phone. I have a Samsung Ativ S device with WP8.1.
Niama3310,
I do not have any problem with Lumia 640XL and with Lumia 650.
For me, you efforts have been very successful. Thanks once more.
p.s. I do not believe that MS will ever come out with a fix. No more money invested on Windows Phone : this is a clear strategy within MS.
What a pity... but that's life.
There have been, there are and there will be dozen of good products that for one reason or another have not been accepted by the market.
