Cannot Change brightness after upgrading to 1803 RTM, previously it was fine .

I had to reset windows because on installing build 17127 , it botched. Even in the botched state it had no brightness control.

Now , I don't have it even after upgrading to 17133 or 1803 rtm . 

I have tried  , installing / uninstalling Intel HD graphics driver ( very old , core i3 first gen PC) 

I have installed/uninstalled Monitors >generic PnP monitor drivers .

(monitor.sys ) is the said driver that allows / disallows F2/F3 brightness hotkey , while brightness never changes. Can you give Monitor.sys from an earlier build such that it can be tested , how do I replace the driver.

    I found a a free program in wich you can actually adjust screen brightness for both day and night. This might be helpfull , http://www.skytopia.com/software/sunsetscreen/

    Thank You, it will not be the first time I had to go to third party software.  Still want to fix the issue rather than work around it with my $.  Even though it's cheap money.  I don't understand why Microsoft can't fix their issue.  Maybe they will....ya right.

    Driver from Dell is not worked. I change link in post to driver from Lenovo this one is worked in my HP ProBook.

    IT worked . Thanks . The Lenovo one. But the lowest brightness turns off the screen. The stability is questionable.

    Extract (Install) it . C/Drivers is the folder used . If it doesn't install , use the Have DIsk Option from Device MAnager > Display adapter > Update Driver.

    I tried that. It wont let me install it. When I Uninstall it. It would install a driver as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Then I right click over it and click on Update Driver. I then click on Browse my computer for driver software. I click on let me pick from list of available drivers from my computer and then click "Have Disk". when I go to the folder where the old drivers are at. I just get this window with "the folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. if the folder contains a driver. make sure its design to work with windows x64-base systems.

    I actually use my prescription sunglasses now to use my old HP notebook, i cannot get it fixed.

    Tried almost everything drivers for AMD HD5000 am unable to adjust the brightness anymore after 1803 update. Please fix Microsoft
