My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK
Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network).
In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible
Access is denied. -OK
Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.
I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Open Windows File Explorer
On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'
C:\users\Default\
Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder
Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile
Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder
Restart (not shut sown) your PC
Re-format it as an NTFS drive. The issue is that it's Fat32 right now, which has a file size cap. So even though you have the space, there's a file on the 1803 patch that's over the limit.
Sorry forgot to mention this in the fix, I guess it's a pretty complicated one, even though it's just installing an update :)
I did. It says I have 29gb free. Do I need to do a non quick format?
Not sure about a non quick format. I just formatted the drive so that it can be used on any device afterwards (just remember to take anything off the drive first and put it on the desktop, then you can put it back on the drive after formatting I formatted mine on a mac so not sure what the Windows 10 options are
So i guess even all these months later this is still an issue. My Quantum Byte ran an uodate and is now bricked.
Now M$ before you go claiming it was all Avasts fault, this mini PC did NOT have avast on it or any 3rd party defensive software, only M$ Defender. It served as a media link to my home network so i could stream off my computer to my tv. Only now it cannot stream anything or load anything.
This is unacceptable, especially with you having the ability to force us to upgrade. This is one reason i was so reluctant to give you guys control over my PC with the upgrade from windows 7. If i have to roll this update back, fine. I want a way to permanently turn off your ability to push upgrades though. I dont want this happening at any point my main PC that i use for work or my gaming PC and have you guys scapegoat Avast for your failures.
