BSOD on OneNote 2016 after Upgrade to Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709

I have this problem (BSOD in win32kbase.sys) on different computers (dell optiplex 760 & 780, optiplex 7020, hp elitedesk 800 g2, home built on MSI mainboard with core i7 3rd generation, (some with NVIDIA NVS, some integrated graphics, different software), a Surface Book (!) from 2016 ) after upgrading to Windows 10 1709 on OneNote 2016 (coming with the Office 2016 package), but only for this combination of OneNote and Windows.

We use CurrentBranch for Business Enterprise and regular Professional version.

Common is to all the cases that a more complex OneNote slide crashes faster (within seconds):

we have tables (6x20) filled with screen-captured images (~1500pixels x 1000pixels) + some text, when zooming (control + mouswheel) in these files, BSOD occurs immediately.

No special additional hardware, update level on 2017-11-15 (just received KB4048951 and others, problem persits).

On request, I could share the OneNote file.

The exactly same OneNote file makes no problems on Win 10 1703/Win7/Win 8.1, or on a Win 10 1709 running OneNote from Office 2010/2013 packages.

I have this issue as well. Occurs in OneNote 2016 and Windows 10 1703, began a couple of days ago. Triggers the BSOD shown in ChristianLotze's post with 100% reproducibility on any page that is media heavy (lecture slides with lots of pictures, notes, etc) and zoom in or out.

Exactly the same problem here: Complex Pages with many Vectors are crashing on Surface Pro and HomePC when zooming in or out. When I rolled back to Version 1703 the problem vanished. After trying again later the problem was there again.

It seems to be clear that this is a Windows or a OneNote 2016 problem. I switched temporarily to the UWP App of OneNote but this is not a longtermsolution. At least I want to use OneNote 2016 on my desktop because of the extended capabilities...

I followed the instructions on the feedback opened by ph13 on https://aka.ms/Ga6tq8

Unfortunately, i don't get how I am supposed to press "stop monitoring" (Step 4) after a blue screen of death... is the monitored data then still submitted after restarting the computer?

I submitted this feedback via the feedback hub following the Microsoft rep's advice. I'd suggest folks add their feedback to mine and upvote it--maybe that will inspire Microsoft to release a fix.

I'm running into the same issue--BSOD with same error when zooming on OneNote 2016 notebook with several pictures (pasted from PowerPoint slides) in the page. It also coincided with my update to 1709 about a month ago.
