Error Code: 0x80073CF9, Couldn't Install Forza Horizon 3 on PC

I just bought Forza Horizon 3 for PC and am unable to download it. Everytime I try to download it, it gives me an error "Couldn't Install, we will try again shortly". 

I'm installing it on a external hard drive with 800Gigs free, tried using wsreset, run as administrator to clear Windows Store Cache, to no avail. I tried installing it on another drive, but the same error pops up.

I've also followed Microsoft's solution to run the trouble shooting app "Appsdiagnostic10", it found a problem, "Windows Store Cache may be damaged", and it was fixed by the troubleshooter, but even after that, trying to download Forza Horizon 3 DOES NOT WORK.

Would appreciate any help/answers.

    Thank you for your reply. The Software Distribution folder is a folder used to temporarily store files that are required to install Windows Update on your computer.

    You can also delete the content of this folder by running a command line through Command Prompt. Here are steps below:

    1. Press the Windows key + X on the keyboard, then select Command Prompt(Admin).
    2. Type the command line net stop wuauserv, then press Enter.
    3. Next, type the second command line net stop bits, then press Enter again.
    4. Now, browse to the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder and delete all the files and folders inside.

    Note: If the files can't be deleted, restart your computer, then after that run the command lines again. 5. After you emptied the folder, restart your computer again, open the Command Prompt(Admin), type the net start wuauserv and net start bits one at a time, then press Enter. ****This action will start the Software Distribution folder as new.

    Hi,

    It looks like the components of your app have something to do with the error message that you are getting. Here are steps on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

    1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
    3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
    4. Hit Enter.

    Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

    same to me, always unable to download / install Forza. But the demo work fine ^^ ...

    I've make a video after the PowerShell operation and reboot, and always the same issue at ~30Mo of downloaded files :/
