Because I do. In addition to installing a good adblocker to prevent these malicious popups you should make sure you keep them regularly updated (just as you do your antivirus software)
(Mine but use any adblocker you wish).
And, of course, don't forget the Ransomware Protection that has been updated in Windows 10 Version 1803 Build 17134.191 and have that set as well as you can.
Of course, that involves the hassles of allowing each and every driver of each and every program you want through your Firewall which means you have to hunt the thing up in Programs or Programsx86 but hey, it beats getting your computer nuked.
