in win 10, maximized window won't drag

Hi. I turned off snap and now a maximized window on my desktop won't drag and get smaller.

I browsed this site and did the Restorehealth in the command prompt thing, also sys scannow with no help.

In regedit, my hkey current user control panel desktop Drag from Maximum is set to "1".

How do I keep snap off and be able to drag maximized windows?

THANK YOU. Have had to REFRESH and then REINSTALL Windows 10 twice in the last month. So glad to have the feature back.

Same thing here. I could ALWAYS grab and drag under any condition and then toss a window to the top and it would cascade in to fill the monitor. OR toss to the right or left and it would take half the monitor. All of a sudden that convenience just stopped. Maximized windows are locked in place and you have to use the middle icon to make it smaller then reposition then click maximize to fill the window again. It had to be an update that took this great convenience away.

My friend, Just go to the settings - System- multitasking and enable Snap Windows

open settings - System - Multitasking - and enable Snap Windows
