Automatic repair couldn’t repair your PC

My computer wouldn't start and entered into an Automatic Repair. The automatic repair "couldnt repair [my]PC". 

It specifies the following Log file: E:\Recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

Hi Steven,

This error occurs due to a possible corrupted startup file. For us to troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

  1. Restart your computer for 3 times to see Windows 10 Boot Options menu.
  2. Choose Troubleshoot.

3. Click on Advanced Options.

4. Select Command Prompt. 5. When Command Prompt appears, enter the following command lines and press Enterafter each: - bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd - bootrec.exe /fixmbr - bootrec.exe /fixboot 6. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

    After doing so many command prompts I found the pro blemishes I think!

    Took a photo shoot .......Boot critical file C:\EFI\Microsoft\boot\resources\custom\bootres.dll is corrupt

    I am now at the end, don't know what to do next! Can anyone help please?

    From microsoft and google, it would seem a win 7 license would be required. 

    per manufacturer, downloaded motherboard bios update onto flash drive. numerous you tube videos and attempts to bios taping or pressing from end to, f12 etc to no avail. Non computer savvy help  looked inside and said fan not turning and hit machine. It started with some error pop ups for fonts and saying restore not fully successful , etc.  I copied every last bit of data to flash drive.   I am now about to restart and see what happens.

    Alright if your data is already backed up on another hard drive/ external memory, save yourself the time and wipe the corrupt internal hard drive. 

    Before you do this gain access to another computer and download windows 7. 

    Go back to your computer and open cmd, diskpart, clean, partition primary, assign letter, format. 

    Either remove the internal hard drive and connect it to the other computer to transfer windows 7, put it back in your pc, boot to install OR put windows 7 on an external hdd, plug into your pc, open cmd, add a second partition as active to the internal hdd, transfer windows 7 from external to internal with cmd, try to boot windows 7, gain access to the hdd, recover what you can, then wipe the original partition that has 10. 

    Im not a professional, do research before following my advice if you're unsure. Step by step instructions are all over google.

    Have been on the phone again with big box, the manufacturer and Microsoft and several repair places. If data can be recovered equals about $300- not worth it. Have most of it backed up twice. Microsoft = incompatible motherboard and don't reinstall win 10 -will create more problems.. manufacturer=motherboard compatible try updating bios, if no success reinstall windows, if no success get new motherboard from the maker and did say no longer need to sodder the heat sink and is a few screws and plugging it all back in..  usb stick made and  looked like it was working briefly saw desktop then eventually same SrtTrail error. and then able to try all the troubleshoot things with  no success.    With bios update usb still in and tower goes dark no lights of any kind after 20 minutes of that (oh did i mention it was nice and sunny when i started this and the skies then opened and now a thunderstorm)  restarted hitting f12 as tech at manufacturer said and am now being asked order wanted for boot and showing a usb zip- even though it showed extracted when I put it on from other computer.  Selected it and it said no table. Did show that it was my usb drive.
