I get the same codes: 121003 and 124. I'm just setting up a new computer, and can't get Solitaire going. MahJong works fine, though. I have uninstalled and reinstalled (twice) with no help. Solitaire works on the old computer and on my laptop- it just won't work on the new one. VERY frustrated!!!!
Ms solitaire collection error code 121003
"Xbox Live error

Please check the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ at
https://aka.ms/mssolitairefaq and refer to error code:
121003"
I've done that, no help to receive there. No one seems to know what the error code 121003 mean so I'm wondering why you are creating error codes that you don't understand yourselves?

2018-09-09T21:39:11+00:00 Yay! Did you notice that MS updated the solitaire app. My PC updated end of August. Maybe thats what caused your prob. We all deserve the prrmium version after the time spent helping each other with this mess.

2018-09-09T21:33:59+00:00 So sorry nothing suggested helped you. I noticed on my PC that MS updated the solitaire app in late August. Evidently MS is aware there are problems. Doesnt mean they can help us.

2018-09-08T02:00:17+00:00 This hit me today. Solitaire worked before supper, after supper came the bad error messages. We have three working machines, one desktop and two laptops. It affected all of them.
Interesting observation: it came up as Solitaire Premium, not the cheapskates' version with ads that I've had for ages.
Uninstall
Reinstall
Reboot
has fixed it on two machines so far, haven't got to the third yet.
Surprised observation: it comes up as cheapskates' but Klondike displays no ads.
I hope that the fix will stick and that it will work for others.
