Ms solitaire collection error code 121003

• Are you still able to play other Microsoft games online?
• Have you tried to sign out and sign in to your account on the Xbox App?
• Did you make any changes to your computer or your network settings prior to the issue?

I have had this problem with Microsoft  bingo also, this is the only troubleshooting I have done with Microsoft solitaire, I did not sign out or in on Xbox App it just appeared.  No changes were made prior to the issue.

I wish I could publish this where it would make a difference, but alas, I'm only a customer.

Windows Bullet Edition

Microsoft has made billionaires of a few people and millionaires of many, mostly because of its business model that in the early days put all of its competitors out of business as a rapidly as possible. But, more in recent times because it forced and continues to force its customers to continually upgrade their computers and buy more Microsoft products. The new business model of leasing software is a real boon to Microsoft's bottom line as is its cloud computing where it basically holds the world's data hostage.

As the software evolved into windows-based software, the coding became more and more complex until now it is pretty much unmanageable. Most upgrades cause untold headaches for IT staff around the world. A new feature here and there always breaks something else.

If Microsoft were any other product, it would long ago have gone bankrupt because of lawsuits and punitive judgments. Microsoft has caused trillions of hours of wasted time for individuals and companies who have to fix software that breaks something or other.

If I were a judge and had to pass sentence on Microsoft, I would propose this punishment.

Force Microsoft to develop a Bullet Version of Windows. That is a bullet-proof version that is guaranteed not to break and provides all of the features that people actually need and want. The Bullet version would have to work on all existing windows operating system computers.

If the inevitable were to happen, that is if something did break, Microsoft would be required to provide a fix within 24 hours and would be required to reimburse companies and individuals for their time and effort in resolving the problem at the current wage for advanced IT staff. They would be required to provide that reimbursement within two weeks of the breakage.

If I were the judge in such a case, I would require that Microsoft reduce its legal staff to less than ten top-notch lawyers and that arbitration be a required avenue of addressing legal issues. The arbitrators would have to be outside of the purview of the Microsoft company.

I had a feeling you had already tried my suggestions.   If you get help from MS tech support again, please posts the steps taken if possible.  I suspect we will have probs again.  Sorry for

your frustrations.   I understand.  MS is its own worst enemy.

I've done that several times now already.  Reinstalled xbox, reinstalled solitaire and that worked for one game and then reverted back to the 121003 error.  In any case, I have to say that the chat support has been good as far as effort being made from the Microsoft side.  Kristian spent over two hours trying to fix the problem last week and made every effort to get it to work.   He did succeed for the one game mentioned.  I am expecting another session today, hopefully with the same person.  He was very persistent, compassionate and he persevered through a rather lengthy time.  I'll try to keep better track of what he did so I can repeat it by myself next time.  Bottom line, I believe it is simply poor application programming.  I believe Microsoft either has some of the poorest programmers on the planet or more likely the Windows program has simply become so cumbersome that nobody can possibly do anything with it without breaking something.  I tend to believe the latter.  It's simply too cumbersome.  There are millions and millions of lines of code, and nobody knows what the last guy did and what they broke.  It's just too big for human beings to manage.

Sorry about your problem.  I know that the error code 121003 has to fo with Xbox connecting to its data cloud.  Best luck Ive had is to click cancel rather than try again.  

It sounds like your pribkem may be with the XBox app which can be reinstalled from programs.  I may be not understanding everything you have tried but resetting the app helped me until some type of MS update fixed it and i got an updated version of MS Solitaire.  You can check your MS updates and see if you are current.
