Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

Split from this thread.

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.

Hey maybe you can try this, just work on mine laptop

    HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Bluetooth/ExceptionDB

If you see the ‘Addrs’ folder, expand it. If you see any keys/folders under it, simply select it and delete them. The keys below that key represent the MAC address of the Bluetooth devices.

    Hello Everyone,

This is how I solved this issue on my DELL running windows 10.

Connect to the Keyboard as usual and when it prompts you to type a PIN, type a random one using a normal keyboard (not wireless). I used "1234".

Now here comes the truth. After you click "connect", W10 keeps on trying connecting to the keyboard but does not tell you what you should do, so I tell you:

Type the same PIN you entered before on your wireless keyboard and then press enter.

I tryed this a couple of time and always worked for me.

    Hope this helps.

                                                                        OMG, IT REALLY WORKS..

DO IT THE SAME WAY IT'S QUOTED ABOVE, AND IT WILL START WORKING..

TO MY AMAZEMENT, I TRIED 0000, ALSO TRIED 8'0,,,,,,, WITH NO LUCK, UNTIL I TRIED '1111' PRESSED CONNECT FROM A WIRED KEYBOARD, AND WHILE THE PC WAS TRYING TO PAIR, I PUT IN '1111' ON THE BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD THEN 'ENTER'. AND TO MY SURPRISE, IT WORKED.. AMAZINGLY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR GUIDING ME TO THIS PROCEDURE, I ALMOST GAVE UP TRYING, BUT ITS GOT TO BE DONE A FEW TIMES, IT WILL WORK I ASSURE YOU. GREAT..

    SOLUTION***

Hey this happened to me too. Instead of trying to pair your keyboard by clicking the “+ add bluetooth or other device” i went to the “related settings” on the right and clicked devices and printers. I didnt see my keyboard there so i clicked add device and it showed up and told me to enter the password into my keyboard and under that it gives you the option to enter a pin they give you and that worked for me.

    HELLO EVERYONE!

I had the same issue, I failed to pair my wireless Bluetooth k1280 id:zgvk1280 ( Chinese brand) on my wins 10. and then it popped up to add the pin code. I found one of the answers in this community but I did not expect it will work. actually, it worked though. First of all: type " 0000" by using the laptop keyboard or normal keyboard that you are usually using and press the "connect "after that you should immediately type "0000" on your pair keyboard and press "ENTER" on the keyboard. it will work perfectly. if it won't work please try at least 3 times. hope this help
