Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

Split from this thread.

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.

    Hello there,

I had the same issue with my keyboard or you can say pc and I found a solution hopefully this will work for you as well.

    1. Go to your device manager.
    2. Then Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers
    3. Option in the area of devices
    4. Add new devices or printer

    Please follow the screenshots

I hope this will solve your issue.

    Thank you

    Hi,

This can be fixed by doing following

    Windows key + R

    Type Regedit

    Navigate through each folder below

    -HKEY_USERS

    -.DEFAULT

    -Software

    -Microsoft

    -Windows

    -CurrentVersion

    -Bluetooth

    -ExceptionDB

    -Addrs

    Delete the folder within Addrs

Once deleted wireless keyboard pin should be displayed by windows and allow connection

    Good luck

    :)

This helped! thank you very much!
