Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.

    I went through all the answers below then realized the answer. It is not asking you a pin from some where else. It is asking for a pin for you to input so that you can repeat it into the keyboard.  Of course I did the same as many here with little result then I hit the enter or return key. It sent it right over, but it will not send it until you press enter. 

    Hope that helps as much as it did me. I am typing this right now with the keyboard I paired.

    Hello Everyone,

    This is how I solved this issue on my DELL running windows 10.

    Connect to the Keyboard as usual and when it prompts you to type a PIN, type a random one using a normal keyboard (not wireless). I used "1234".

    Now here comes the truth. After you click "connect", W10 keeps on trying connecting to the keyboard but does not tell you what you should do, so I tell you:

    Type the same PIN you entered before on your wireless keyboard and then press enter.

    I tryed this a couple of time and always worked for me.
