Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.

    I also started having this problem... go to control panel then under hardware and sounds select add a device... the Bluetooth keyboard should show up then select it and click next then it will give you an empty space to write the passcode and under it an option to get a new passcode.... click the option under the space..... then you will get a new passcode which you are supposed to type it as fast as possible on the Bluetooth keyboard and press enter afterward... it will then connect and you are free to use the keyboard. remember type the password on the keyboard you are trying to connect not the pc's keyboard

    I love my 1st generation BT devices. Like a lot of other people, I purchase high-quality products and expect them to last for many years. It is very frustrating when changes in software make them seem outdated. Even when we can afford new equipment we have to ask ourselves what is the ecological impact of constantly replacing items that are still working perfectly well. I can afford it, but I’m not sure the planet can. I hope maybe I’ve saved a few Bluetooth keyboards from the landfill. 

    No I’m not still using a 3.5” floppy drive but could certainly pull one out if I needed to! LOL

    I know this thread is old but I was literally just having the same problem. I disconnected it temporarily so Dad could borrow it, afterwards it seemingly refused to reconnect. At first it gave me a PIN to enter but received "no input" when I tried to type it, and after doing that a couple times it just gave me a blank field to enter a PIN without telling me what that PIN was.

    I got this thing at Goodwill, thus no manual. I tried the "0000" thing, tried Device Pairing Wizard, checked my drivers, ran troubleshooter after troubleshooter, rebooted my computer twice, listened to Dad rant about how much he hates Microsoft...

    When I was about to throw in the towel and just go buy a new *USB* keyboard, I found this deep in the bowels of page 3 of Google results. And by golly, it WORKED. Basically you have to enter a PIN on your WORKING keyboard (I'm guessing just any number, I used "0000"), press "connect," and THEN quickly type that same number on your BLUETOOTH keyboard and press "enter." So I guess the reason it doesn't GIVE the PIN is because it's essentially telling you to create your own?
