Amazon Device randomly showing up on Network.

Ok Lets start off by Clearing up some rights and wrongs, first off its NOT from the Fall Update, First all the Name ....Austin is the Motherboard of the Device...... , AMAZON is the Company who had them made in China. The devises can be a Kindle or about 10 other Amazon Products Fire or HD,Tablet... KFAUWI is the LINUX based system it runs on alot of things but to keep this short ill just put a link in here to show yall most of what I am talking about on a website....(link at end)......I tried everything to stop this even manually blocking the MAC ADDY and it still got in so i thought wow im infected or something. I run alot of hardware here and some is wireless (most of it is like cells phone, tablets etc..Wifi so if on the property you dont waste your Data limits etc.....all before unlimited lol.) 

   Ok I spent 3 full days on this and hours researching to pin point this 100%....because we have over 200 Mac addy's and wired & Wireless AP's so it took taking full parts of the network down and servers and so on etc. after day 2 it became clear it was a WIFI issue but was it AP, the device sending the signal or what? Like i said we took all pieces out to find it was one of our Wifi Routers on the 5G band. 

  To find out which one do this... OPen a window with your Network Properties to show the Amazon/KFAUWI/Austin devise when it pops up... I suggest you keep refreshing the window every 5-10 or so seconds while your testing to see if you found which WIFI point if you have more than one like we do...if you only have one just shut off WiFi and refresh it will be gone for good.....Now this is only how to find and stop it I am still working on how to block it.... Because we have so many things its gonna take a while but I am unable to change the pass word on the Router because its mot reset able.. **** Frontier **** yet again!!!

   I plan to take it down tomorrow and swap it out and if its gone then ill know 100% it was that box... if the new one is not changeable i plan to tell them I want one I can change or i want to use my own(which is 100x better anyway) but if i do use mine i want a discount on bill permanently.    GOOD LUCK ... This HTC Bolt is likely the Bluetooth Lighthouse system of a VIVE VR headset.

What you are seeing is the attempt at a handshake between the 2 systems

if you turn off Bluetooth it goes away? Maybe a neighbor has a VIVE?

This is irrelevant to those of us who have PCs without wifi, but who still have the spurious device.

Yes. The idea that it is a wireless feature is nonsense. If that were the case there would be an IP address showing in the properties, and on the router if applicable.

I think it's due to a bug in the Windows update (that seems to have vanished from my PC).
