I've got a random Amazon KFAUWI device showing up on my network as a device beside my driver for my router. Can anyone help? I am sure it is not a device in my house, as everything is set to something we've done or one of our names. Can anyone tell me if i'm stupid or if this is a general happening?

    Just a random guess.  Maybe it's an Alexa device or a Kindle.

    Should be your Amazon firecube or firesticks, any device that has to connect to your wifi or Lan will show up on the client list on your modem.

    Austin has a friend now. This is really annoying, but I think we are on the wrong forum to get to the bottom of it.  Amazon needs to explain what's going on.  I have Verizon FiOS, three Echo devices, the Amazon music app on one computer and the Alexa and Music Apps on my phone. 

    One of them is being shifty and spawning Douglas on my network.  Why I have a Douglas and not an Austin, I don't know. The three Echos I have are an Echo (2nd gen), a Dot (2nd gen) and a Spot with calling not registered.  

    No, my name is not Douglas.

    I just learned our Comcast Business modem has an XFINITY hotspot built in. That is our modem/router broadcasting, not the neighbors. >:|
