Another freeze today. Again it is totally random. Still not official word from Microsoft? I think I will start documenting every instance of the freeze as it happens on this thread so that Microsoft can see the severity of this issue.
Windows 10 1709 freeze randomly
Windows 10 1709 its been out almost a month now and still no fix for the freezing bug issue, lots of people are having the same issue as me and none of your suggestion work unlike the 1703 which didn't freeze for me but sadly 1709 does but seems like Microsoft hasn't acknowledge the problem yet.. #Microsoft fix it

2018-01-17T15:13:20+00:00 I installed a new graphics cards (after the upgrade, my monitors would not sense a boot and remained in the off position)... $200 and ran the upgrade "trouble shooter". It seemed to have a hard time but did report a corrupt database and repaired it. So far, so good... no freezes except one strange one that occurred with the USB port sound notice and then froze. But it looks good at this point. I have 4 other machines that upgraded just fine, so this is the oldest one.

2018-01-17T06:08:53+00:00 I think to go back to 1903 is only a stopgap. Microsoft should finally solve the Problem. :(

you can push back feature updates for up to a year now.
if your being nagged to install 1709 then

2018-01-17T04:13:55+00:00 It still isn't fixed? I'm hoping it is soon because I keep getting pestered to install the update again after downgrading to 1703 (almost 2 weeks since my last downgrade with no issues and I don't foresee any issues to be honest) twice already. I really wish there was a reliable way to turn auto-updating off or to at least delay it until a new fix is out. It sucks when you're trying to do something important (or fun) and that reminder window pops up.
