Windows 10 1709 its been out almost a month now and still no fix for the freezing bug issue, lots of people are having the same issue as me and none of your suggestion work  unlike the 1703 which didn't freeze for me but sadly 1709 does but seems like Microsoft hasn't acknowledge the problem yet..   #Microsoft fix it

I have had this problem on every pc I have updated to 1709

I even ran sfc turned off the ability for the ssd to go into sleep mode.

manually assigned virtual memory parameters and still have the same issue where in the morning the pc is locked up and sporadically happens end of day.

I am a managed services provider.

this is un-acceptable that the update is being pushed out through windows 10 and its breaking pcs.. these are businesses microsoft and window 10 needs to be a stable os or maybe its time we all pull back to 7 since 8 and. 8.1 were crappy,

I also have this issue were Windows 1709 will freeze up on a completely fresh install with all good (verified) hardware, and can confirm this didn't happen on 1703.

Certain things will make the mouse and everything lock up for a couple seconds. One thing I know that always does this is right-clicking the desktop. The context menu won't come up right away and the mouse will freeze.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon as it is definitely a Fall Creators Update Windows issue.

the computers I am having this problem with are all Intel i5 I7 processors on dell machines XPS Vostro OptiPlex with 4-16GB of ram

    all but 1 with ssds

All I can say is this is becoming ridiculous and I am waiting for a bunch of companies to get together and file a class action lawsuit against Microsoft for this outrage!!! They forced us to upgrade to windows 10 the 1607 build was by far the best to date.  they need to stop adding features and just make the damn thing work.  That is all that businesses care about is their computers are working and their employees are productive.  if this is what MS is like Under Sateya then its time to Bring Gates back.. He would have screamed bloody murder at the developers for this travesty.

I had a similar problem after updating to Patch 1709, after which it was resolved. Microsoft Forum And then it does not work, I roll back 1703, the problem is gone.
