++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    Even if it were in 3rd place, it would be a distant third and continuing to fall behind until new devices were sold with it as the installed OS.

    None of this makes me happy as I've invested a lot of time and money on MS infrastructure both desktop and mobile, but that's the way it is. I'm not sure exactly what I'll do over the next year, but the real world facts don't argue for planning on continuing with mobile WIN especially as MS moves away from its own product.

    Starting to feel like the old days when the app store for 6.5 and 7 literally disappeared over night. Core apps stop working, long delays from Microsoft. 

    If there is no mobile, then the app store is kinda useless. 

    Starting to see those whispers about Windows going to a subscription based system again.

    • these are difficult times especially for the  Anniversary update 1607 // certainly if an update decreases performance, then this should not be pushed on the unsupported devices //

    Same thing happened with the same app in August and before that in February this year. Draw your own conclusions about how much Microsoft care about their own Mobile platform and then think again about the chances of it's revival.
