++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    Where is the petition.....? I would signe it with both my left and right hands. The world-wide reach should be as far as it can possibly be. Facebook and/or all Mobile Phone Service Providers Survey would be a good point to start.... I'm sure the results would remove every doubt.

    • hope that the leading opinion stream in the company will want a Microsoft platform & not an auto-distructive mission, which is an insult to the Microsoft employee community. You can manufacture android-powered Microsoft phones for learning and cooperation purposes, but abandoning Windows 10 mobile for that is like having Mercedes AMG F1 with Renault engines // have to admit that there has been an example when BMW Sauber had been powered by Ferrari engines in 2010 // maybe they have won in many categories, but did not realize it. //

    Why? Just answer why? Why would Microsoft spend a ton of money on a system that somewhere around 11,000 people want?

    because...WINdoze is not just a phone platform, but instead, comprises an...dare I use a cliché...ecosystem that extends--but is not separate from--home, work, and server-level environs.

    They didn't have to be "stupid enough" to put up the platform , in the first place,...neither will they have to, to resurrect it. Business forces you fondly point to, please remember, are NOT static or cast on stone.

    Guys, Microsoft isn't going to suddenly reverse itself now. Tell me why any third party would make hardware or apps? Because of a petition?
