++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • Lumia youtube support channel looks great & OS is better optimized // sometimes can have the impression that even the battery endurance is better //

    • hope the Microsoft Launcher app for other platforms is not a negative (-) terminator for Windows 10 mobile // terminator has had 2 dimensions & for Windows 10 mobile there will be a judgment day or a to be or not to be phase // Windows 10 mobile is better optimized & it is very strange if will crash out the market // MSFT invests many billion $ in AI with questionable rewards & has lacked 0.5 - 1 billion to keep stable the phone business // because things can change & when there is a turning point on the market & with some snowball effect the company even can make profits //

    I'm not sure, I do not understand. What I personally see, that MS invested lot of energy to build a cross device platform (UWP), and just after it was finished, they removed one pretty important pillar, the mobile phone. Seriously UWP is fast, easy to develop, cross device platform environment, supported from desktop over xbox, on the other part MS still try to enter ultra mobility, IoT, they still support ARM devices. If they abandon phones, they will loose step by step, home desktop, tablet and other segments too.

    I'm kind of like open source, but no one cares to standardize, no one cares to make it coherent. If you are a developer aon open source platform, you need to speak c, c++, java, JS, PH, perl, phyton, HTML, css, json, xml. With MS it is  nearly possible to do any ting under c#, just think on the Blazor project or .Net Standard 2.0

    For sure MS has done huge changes lately with VS community edition, supporting linux ELF under Windows. 

    My favorite: cnet trys to find a substitute phone for MS WP, they list around 10 different phone each has one or other features...
