++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • do not try hard reset for this issue // “We understand that many users on Windows Phone are experiencing crashes with Outlook Mail and Calendar on the latest update 16006.11001.20083.0 on phones running on Windows build RS1. We apologize for the issue and our engineers are quickly working on a fix for this. Please stay tuned,” (Microsoft's Feedback Hub) // ++ in case of a hard reset be sure that the Upgrade advisor is available or you need to go with the OTC over the cable updater //

    • the company should value its users & do not put them at a disadvantage vs. the mobile competition // after all Windows users are important for the future of this business, which is way apart from the 1 trillion valuation (I think the difference to the #1 spot is closely linked to  Windows (10) mobile) // as for the downloads you have to pay attention to the exact links // 📱

    • just have spotted an unusual high number of new Lumia 930s on EBAY ++ interesting trend & maybe it is new only for me

++ for Chris : https://www.windowslatest.com/2018/06/25/truecaller-ends-support-for-its-windows-phone-app/ ++ maybe your problem has to do something with this situation of discontinuation

++ as for security updates : I have thought that new challenges need new patches & I sincerely think that the powerful competition cares not so much for their older OS versions //

    • looks like in 2020 smartphone history will be turning the MS Lumia way. New features for Office Mobile on UWP are not a priority (but the apps obviously will be in top shape ++ they are already performant) & now the other platforms will do the R &D work to prepare the way for a great Windows Phone re-entry from 2020 onwards. Like in long jump or triple jump, there are situations when one has to take some steps backwards in order to perform a competitive jump.

P.S. probably the foldable device will not be coming next year (maybe in Q4 2019) // ++ stay strong & benefit from the performance of Microsoft Lumia & Windows 10 mobile //
