Microsoft Store app missing.

What i did was the app reset. Now its nowhere . Not in Cortana, Apps and Features, etc. I ran the troubleshooter from Microsoft. both inbuilt and the one downloaded from MS. And I can get this message " you need a new app to open this ms-windows-store. "

 Is it completely gone? or can I reregister it ?

    4 years later and this thread is still active. I've never seen anything like it in all my years using Microsoft products.

    It does get a tad boring after some years have passed with no apparent fix.

    My MS store app is missing and for 3 days now I receive a message stating reinstalling Microsoft Store,  shows progress and then another message tells me the reinstall failed and will try again later?  What can I do to resolve this?  Thanks

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Windows PowerShell (Admin)

    At the command prompt, type the following then hit Enter:

    Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Restart, then try launching the Store again.

    Will that work substituting "Mail And Calender"?  Thanks.
