I received a network warning. It said there is another computer with the same ip address as this one. What does this mean and do I need to worry about?
track numbers in front of song names in windows music library, windows 7
I have track numbers in front of some of my song names (not title) in my music libarary. How do I get rid of them. They are not in the "name" in WMP. I try to right click and rename and that doesn't work. I try going through properties into details and delete numbers in front of name, but it doesn't stay changed. Tried to edit in WMP and that doesn't work. Nothing I do permenantly changes the name (not title).
Help!!!!!!

2018-03-01T20:38:41+00:00 Ric, you is the bestest. I always wonder what they mean by 'ELEVATED Command Prompt'. I am an old DOS guy. A prompt is a prompt. Just sayin'.
Janet, just breathe. It will be okay. Good job repairing the files!

2018-03-01T19:46:41+00:00 Ok summarize: computer: I moved my music back to under "music" folder from documents. There are 5 individual files...ie: Janets music, Garys music, 80's music, etc. In these files, there are duplicate songs......of which I want to stay there. When I did this, wmp populated its libaray withALLsongs, from ALL files. Therefore, there are duplicates now in wmp. I can live with that I guess, but next problem: WMP: the bottom controls to play, stop, previous, next are not working. Also, when I place my mouse over one of the songs it automatically starts playing and when I move my mouse off the song, it stops playing. What's interesting: If I try to play my playlist songs in wmp, the bottom controls work.
