Updated computer now Asus PCE AC68 will not work

I update to the latest version of windows 10 now my wireless network adapter will not work. I am currently use my iPhone usb hotspot to connect to the internet on my desktop. I have tried the latest driver updates and uninstalling and reinstalling. I have also tried a clean install. I have tried taking the Network adapter out and putting it back in. now I am stumped. I am getting error code 10. and when I try latest drivers it says that the latest drivers are already installed.

    i have tried everything aswell, the work-around unfortunately dint work for me.

    Any further help anybody? Pleaseeee

    I have all the latest updates installed and still the same problem with the networkcard fails to start.

    As long as you install all Windows 10 updates, this is no longer an issue. Manual work around is no longer required.

    i have been struggling with this problem for almost 2 months screeming at asus for a workaround and your post was a godsend it worked immediately YOU ROCK!!!!!

    In the end, I moved the PCE-AC68 

    Thanks for the post. I decided to do the same thing and now my wifi is up and running. Shame I had to upgrade to an asus ac88 though. My ac 68 was working fine until the 1709 windows update. I only had the 68 for only 2 years and was fast enough since my internet isn't faster than the card. Also just for a bit of info. I tried also the pci lock setting that others were talking about. Well it locked my pc... had to reinstall windows and accidently lost some important data. Will be using a backup drive from now on. Hind sight.... :(
