I had same problem but it's solved.

    Setting> Internet Options> Advanced> Security> Use TLS 1.2 (it was marked at 1.0)

    Hope this work for you.

This worked!  Everything else suggested doesn't even make sense to fix the problem, like fixing the Microsoft Store?  How does that even equate with the issue?  I will add, that for some, a little extra explanation on how you do that is helpful.  A person needs to go to settings (on the computer, not in the browser) and then I had to search for "Internet Options" in the search bar because I couldn't find it in the settings.  After that, easy peasy!  Thanks again so much!

    Hello,

Have you tried performing the steps previously provided on this thread? if not, we suggest trying it first to check if that will work for you. Also, we want to know more about your concern. Please answer the following:

    • Can you tell us more details about the issue that you are experiencing?
    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • When did this issue start?

    Looking forward to your response.

The note that pops up says:

Your TLS security settings aren’t set to the defaults, which could also be causing this error.

    Try this:

    • Go back to the last page

If I hit "go back to last page" I return to my home screen.

When I said I verified ... I meant that I compared all the settings from my laptop that is not having this problem with those on my desktop that is having these problem. The setting I checked were all in the internet options.

    Hi Ron,

Can you expand on this please?

    • Go back to the last page

If I 'go back to the last page' as you say, it takes me back to the Google search page, therefore caught in an endless loop.

I verified that my internet settings are the exact same as those on the computer that is not having this problem. The only difference is the desktop is connected to my company network and the laptop is not.

    Verified how? with whom?

    Kind regards.

    Blue skies above
