Running DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

After I started the DISM.exe /Online/Cleanup-image/Restorehealth I get a flashing white dot and after an hour no new data has shown on the screen! Does the flashing dot mean the restorehealth of my pc is in process?

    I don’t understand what you mean do an in-place upgrade.  is this a change to the DISM command?

    I dont know if this has already been solved but if you press the "ENTER" Key ONCE after typing the DISM.exe /Online/Cleanup-image/Restorehealth command on COMMAND PROMPT then you will get the progress bar which you can monitor as it progresses, that way you wont be lost on what is happening. I hope this helps.

    Went and bought another HP computer, now that makes a lot of sence! 3 weeks of effort was plenty.
