Hi,
there is a problem with laptops which have Intel iGPU + GTX 1050/1050Ti/1060/1070. The problem is whenever you perform some action on the OS, discrete GPU is triggered and it causes a 0.5s freeze.
Some actions, which causes the dGPU to wake up and lock up the whole system for about 0,5 seconds are:
Since the problem was OS based, it could be found on all laptop brands: ASUS, Acer, Clevo, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, MSI, Razer.
This is nearly a three-year-old bug:

Hi everyone,
With the latest KB4284848 the problem is partially solved. The community and I have tested the build and we can confirm that it fixes most of the freezes.
There are still some problems though. Some freezes left within the Edge browser
and File Explorer. Please post your feedback!

As D_Steve595 and incxbx already mentioned, this bug does not only affect the right-click on the desktop.
Popular actions, which cause the dGPU to wake up and lock up the whole system for about 0,5 seconds are, from my view:
This issue causes your system to lock up on any of the actions mentioned above, which can be really annoying when watching videos on a second monitor, listening to music or just browsing the net.
Especially concerning the background of most of the people having this issue (expensive Gaming-Laptop with high-class equipment like recent i7 7700 and GTX 10X0) this is quite a big deal if those laptops are sold as fast gaming machines...
Could this problem probably be elevated to a higher priority?

so youre saying this is a problem related to hardware??
No it is definetely software/driver related.
But no one has ack on this.
It is covered up because you wont hear anything about this problem until you buy a device.
And after you buy a device you are ignored.
