Hi,
there is a problem with laptops which have Intel iGPU + GTX 1050/1050Ti/1060/1070. The problem is whenever you perform some action on the OS, discrete GPU is triggered and it causes a 0.5s freeze.
Some actions, which causes the dGPU to wake up and lock up the whole system for about 0,5 seconds are:
Since the problem was OS based, it could be found on all laptop brands: ASUS, Acer, Clevo, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, MSI, Razer.

Hi everyone,
With the latest KB4284848 the problem is partially solved. The community and I have tested the build and we can confirm that it fixes most of the freezes.
There are still some problems though. Some freezes left within the Edge browser
and File Explorer. Please post your feedback!

I agree we should work together. All manufacturers, reviewers, tech sites have dirty hand on this as well as intel/nvidia/microsoft.
Aspecially Trustness of review sites and youtubers should have been seriously damaged by now.
Units sold to us are basicly defective, and no body mentioned it except maybe on some community forums.

Same issues here seen on my new laptop with similar specs in title.
Stop dismissing this issue INTEL , NVIDIA AND MICROSOFT , and pretending to care about it for well over 6 long months but clearly no fixes have been or will be issued.
Microsoft,Nvidia, Intel - I will be sharing on social media, friends, family etc - even if a negligible impact, the collective power of frustrated users here and elsewhere is growing daily , should hopefully put a dent on those responsible.
Do us a favor and compile a list.
Fun fact: I'm the guy who reviews laptops in Turkey. It is really bizzare that no reviewer in US mentions about this issue when reviewing the devices...
I myself bought a GS43VR 7RF and I do not hide the fact that my laptop also suffer from this problem. In fact, I inform everyone in Turkey:

We should also post a list of public mail addresses, or just the ones you guys know, we'll make it into a list later, that we could use to send emails to publications, youtubers, any tech news outlets that might be able to help, report, etc.; basically do their journalist business.
