Windows 10 Creators Update: Keyboard lagging

After updating to the Creators Update, mykeyboard has been lagging, with a few seconds of normal typing, there are significant delay where keystrokes will not register.

Have already checked for updated drivers and troubleshooted, both to no avail.

    YOUR software update has rendered my keyboard, and thus my computer, useless, as it has for everyone else in this forum.  It took me 2 min to type that sentence.  YOUR software is putting my livelihood at risk.

    Why have you not responded in this forum, besides ridiculously suggesting driver updates?

    I had the same issue and through some deduction, I was able to figure out the cause of my lagging keyboard.

    I ran through the normal steps; checking drivers, checking windows updates checking software installs and the like. When none of that proved to be the cause I looked at hardware changes.

    BINGO... the only thing I'd done is plugged in an external hard drive recently.

    So I unplugged it.

    It immediately fixed the problem.

    After some looking, I found that USB 3 causes some interference with other USB devices. Then I thought if I had a Logitech Keyboard and mouse using the same dongle, why was it only my keyboard? And I realized I was using a Logitech unifying dongle but my mouse (performance mx) had its own dongle in a different USB port elsewhere.

    So I hope this might help someone as much as is did me.

    Got "Creator studio" update on my Windows laptop (Lenovo Yoga 3.14) today.

    After that, laptop keyboard is completely useless because of lag and random skips of keys pressed.

    I have to connect external keyboard to write this text.

    Trackpad, external keyboard and mouse work fine. Issue only affects laptop keyboard.

    Yep, the same problem on the same laptop...

    When I updated to Creators Update, it seems to me there were no any problems, but it started to appear approx. 1 week ago. 

    When it happened for the first time, I restarted my laptop and problem was solved, but today it doesn’t help... The only way to type is to use touch screen keyboard, which is hard to use for typing long texts

    I'm having Keyboard and mouse lag / control ghosting issues also since loading the creators update yesterday. 

    Mainly noticed when gaming.

    I'd imagine there's some graphics driver issues and conflicts again. Nvidia 950m Graphics card.
